What is a chenille patched hat?

A chenille patched hat is a cap with a raised, textured chenille patch, the fuzzy, varsity-style yarn look, attached to the front. At Believe In New York, each chenille patch is designed in-house and applied by hand.

Are your chenille patched hats handmade?

Yes. Our patched hats are designed, cut, crafted and finished by hand. Each chenille patch is glued and then sewn on for a lasting finish. There's no mass production.

Will my hat look exactly like the photo?

Close, but not identical. Every hat is handmade, so patch placement and camouflage pattern vary slightly. That's part of what makes each piece one of a kind.

How long does it take to make my hat?

Chenille patched hats take about 10–15 business days to make before they ship. Crystal appliqué hats take about 15–20 business days. Ready-to-ship and limited-edition items usually ship within 1–3 business days.

How long does shipping take?

After production, USPS estimates 2–8 business days for delivery within the United States. Delivery times aren't guaranteed.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only.

What size are your hats?

Our camo chenille patched hats are one size fits most, with a plastic snap closure that fits about 22"–23¾". Crystal appliqué baseball hats are one size fits most (6⅝–7⅝) with a tri-glide buckle. Check each product page for its exact specs.

Can I return my order?

There are no returns on custom made items.

How are your crystal appliqué hats made?

Each crystal appliqué is placed by hand, fused, and then hand-stitched so it stays on permanently. Every hat is made to order, so no two are exactly alike.
